The University of Pittsburgh's Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a post-doctoral research position to work on the ATLAS Experiment. The successful Candidate is expected to play a leading role in the data analysis of precision top quark measurements as well as Higgs-related topics. We are active in the operations and the HL-LHC upgrade of the trigger systems in firmware algorithm development and simulation. We are also active in R&D using AI in custom electronics as well as in distributed computing. The Pitt ATLAS Group is led by Professors Joe Boudreau, Jim Mueller, and Tae Min Hong.
