Vegetable packing, washing, and processing support is for product produced by the employer. Primary duties include hand weeding and hand harvesting. Other duties may include greenhouse preparation, cultivating, preparing rows for planting, planting, fertilizing, harvesting, spraying, irrigating, weeding, loading & unloading of trucks/trailers, preparation of product for market, and washing and packing of farm produce grown on farm. Workers will perform work according to supervisors instructions. Job involves stooping, lifting and working outside in inclement weather & outdoor temps from as cold as 30 degrees to in excess of 90 degrees. Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs.
