ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA STANDS UP PA Stands Up is an independent, multiracial political organization by and for the many, with dues-paying members dedicated to winning a Pennsylvania that works for all of us. We are working people living across Pennsylvania’s cities, towns and rural areas. Our 4 chapters in 6 counties build grassroots leadership, fight for policies that work for working people, and elect candidates who represent our values. JOB DESCRIPTION PA Stands Up (PASU) seeks full time, temporary Field Organizers to lead a canvassing and community outreach program to grow our understanding of local issues, to shift political narratives, and to deepen our relationships within specific communities, over the course of at least 6 months with the potential to become salaried staff. Beyond knocking doors, our Field Organizers will invest in people and place over an extended period of time. They will have daily political and strategic education where they will make meaning of...
