Summary A Deputy U.S. Marshal is responsible for assisting in and performing criminal investigations to apprehend wanted Federal fugitives, participating in joint task forces which are composed of a variety of law enforcement personnel, and developing facts and evidence by utilizing a wide range of investigative techniques. The incumbent also provides for the protection of judicial officials, government officials and witnesses.
