DUTIES: Product development of child safety seats, strollers, and other products through enhancing, improving, and optimizing designs for better performance, quality, and cost through the process of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Conducting multiple FEA simulations concurrently through the entire product development process. Performing a range of simulations (static, non-linear, fatigue, highly dynamic, crash, occupant kinematics). Improving correlation between virtual and actual sled test results. Performing and organizing data analysis. Ensuring project deliverables are met on-time. Participating in material analysis, validation, and selection, working with internal teams to ensure the choice and capability of materials. Generating detailed reports.
