Policy and Budget Director:Will develop, analysis, and implement the offices legislative and budget priorities. The Director will conduct research on city, state and federal policy issues, draft legislation, and guide the Assemblymembers strategy throughout the annual budget process. The role involves working closely with community organizations, government agencies, legislative staff and other stakeholders to advance legislation and budget initiatives. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills and a deep understanding of New York State government - including the legislative process and budget cycle.
