Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Reliability and Design Engineer Duties:

Rexnord Industries, LLC seeks a Reliability and Design Engineer reporting to headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to conduct manufacturing engineering analysis under limited supervision. Develop engineering requirements for couplings monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions. Use 3D CAD models along with FEA tools to design and analyze products. Implement coupling solution prototypes at the factory test lab and at customer sites. Commission and support coupling solutions and monitoring systems installations. Conduct failure analyses, including detailed root cause analysis with effective corrective actions. Perform field service for engineering instrumentation. Create technical documentation including engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and layouts. Support new customer and supplier development and contribute to Material Cost Out (MCO) and New Product Development (NPD) projects. Perform torque monitoring. Originate test requests and follow tests and organize, analyze, and summarize test data. Evaluate customer feedback for continuous improvement of new coupling products and solutions. Align and collaborate with couplings product and sales specialists and with Industrial Internet of Things (\"IloT\") specialists to integrate new IloT-based predictive technology. Support product and manufacturing transfers and restructuring projects. Support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and Kaizen events. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. May travel up to 10% of time to various and unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Annual salary: \$73,382-85,000/year. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field plus six months of manufacturing engineering experience. Must have at least six months of experience in each of the following: 1. Developing engineering requirements for couplings monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions; 2. Implementing coupling solution prototypes; 3. Using 3D CAD models along with FEA tools to design and analyze products; 4. Performing torque monitoring; and 5.
