Job Title: Audit Manager
Location: Miami or Denver - 3 days in office - Possibly 2 days 
Compensation: $125k - $155k based on experience
Requirement: 6+ years of Public Accounting Experience - CPA license required

We are a boutique accounting firm that has been around for over 60 years. Our firm is ranked amongst the top 200 firms in the US offering a full line of accounting services. We specialize in real estate, construction, hospitality, family office, and high-net worth individuals ranging from the individual tax payer to some of the largest companies in South Florida. We believe in a good work-balance and providing the flexibility to our employers.

Due to the growth and volume of work we are looking to add an Audit Manager to the team to help better serve our clients. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Public Accounting experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Plan and execute public audit engagements, including reviewing workpapers, identifying potential issues, and communicating findings to clients
  • Supervise a team of auditors and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to public accounting and auditing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and board of directors
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations

What You Need for this Position

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
  • Previous experience managing a team of auditors
  • Strong knowledge of auditing practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
