Seasonal Harvest Team – Apple Orchards Ceed is a full-service orchard management business based in Hawke’s Bay, home to a skilled team that cares about doing things properly. We look after hundreds of hectares of apple orchards, carrying out the technical work, machinery tasks, and day-to-day management needed to keep orchards performing at their best. We are looking for highly motivated people to join the Ceed team for harvest on a full time, fixed-term basis. We have a number of roles available… Tractor Operators Ever wanted to operate a tractor? Already have the skills and want to put them to use in a fast-paced, people-first environment? This could be the role for you! You will be supporting the success of our harvest by operating tractors to move empty and full apple bins safely and efficiently around our orchards. Full training can be provided if you’re new to tractor driving. Full or restricted drivers’ licence is essential. Quality Control Supervisors Are you an experienced QC Supervisor looking to join a high energy team with an awesome culture? We’re looking for people with at least 2+ years’ experience orchard harvest QCing to oversee a team of up to 15 pickers, ensuring top quality results for our clients. An eye for detail is essential as are strong people skills. You will need to have access to your own transport to move between orchard blocks and be tech-savvy enough to enter and read data on a tablet. Quality Control Apple Bins Do you have great attention to detail? Want to put that to use in a fast-paced, friendly environment? We need self-motivated, reliable, team players to quality control our harvested fruit before it heads out the orchard gate. No experience necessary, we offer full training. You will need to have access to your own transport to move between orchard blocks and be tech-savvy enough to enter and read data on a tablet. Forklift Operators Are you a skilled forklift operator who likes to do things safely and efficiently? We are searching for operators to support harvest on our busy client orchards. You’ll be moving apple bins with care, working alongside a hard-working crew, and keeping things safe and steady through the peak of the season. An OSH certificate and F Endorsement are essential.
