Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will support and enhance our existing safeguarding tool while playing a key role in testing and validating a newer, more robust version currently under development. You will assist with planning, coordination, and execution across the safeguarding program as it continues to evolve alongside new products, legal entities, reconciliation enhancements, and technical improvements. This position offers meaningful exposure to multiple facets of the payments industry and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Finance, and Compliance. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and enjoys tackling complex problems in a regulated environment while balancing strong attention to detail with an understanding of the broader business impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the safeguarding program by identifying and resolving data and processing issues. Log defects, coordinate accurate data fixes, verify implementation and document RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Develop comprehensive testing scenarios. Execute, review, and validate the results. Maintain evidence of test results and document audit trail.
  • Update the Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Collaborate with product management to ensure safeguarding project milestones and major deliverables are on schedule. Identify potential risks and recommend achievable solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience performing user acceptance testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Self-motived, flexible, and ability to work independently
  • Detailed oriented without losing the big picture
  • Hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn and take on a wide variety of responsibilities
  • An understanding of Accounting Fundamentals
  • An understanding of the Safeguarding Regulations
  • An understanding of System Development Life Cycle
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience working in the financial services / payments industry
    • Experience working with multiple legal entities and currencies
    • An understanding of CASS 7
