Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental infrastructure projects throughout both the design and construction phases. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, performing inspections, and preparing or reviewing technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, permits, and project requirements
Manage project budgets and schedules to meet client expectations
Mentor junior staff and provide leadership within project teams
Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and specifications
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to plans
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and sub-consultants to support successful project delivery
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in water, sewer, or environmental infrastructure projects
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Ability to obtain E.I.T. certification if not already held
Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Additional Skills & Qualifications
P.E. license preferred
5+ years of experience in water, wastewater, sewer, or environmental infrastructure projects
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr.
