Senior quantity surveyor

* Join an Auckland Contractor who's picking up the pace in 2026 * Exciting projects coming on line * Excellent packages $170,000 - $190,000 (Pending Exp) +Bens Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) is working with a well-established construction business is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Structures Division in Auckland. This is a senior role suited to a highly capable QS or an Engineer looking to transition into a Quantity Surveying position within the concrete structures sector. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Structures, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of concrete structures projects ranging from $1m to $20m. You will operate with a high level of autonomy and work closely with Project Managers to support successful project delivery. Some travel may be required depending on project locations. Key Responsibilities * Full commercial and financial administration of structures projects * Operating independently with minimal oversight across multiple projects * Working closely with Project Managers on EOTs, contractual notifications and claims * Contract administration and risk management across head contracts and subcontracts * Involvement in estimating and pricing as required * Ensuring strong commercial governance and reporting About You * Minimum 15 years' experience in Quantity Surveying or a related engineering background * At least 5 years' experience working in New Zealand * Strong knowledge of NZS 3910, 3915 and 3916 contracts * Solid understanding of SA2017 Subcontract Conditions * Experience delivering concrete or structural projects preferred * Commercially astute, detail-focused, and confident operating at senior level What's On Offer * Salary package of $170,000 - $190,000, dependent on experience * Auckland-based role within a specialist structures team * Exposure to complex and technically challenging concrete structures projects * Senior position offering autonomy, influence, and long-term stability This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial professional to play a key role in the delivery of significant structural projects within a high-performing construction environment.
