Truck driver / operator

Actus Transport (NZ) Ltd is part of the Orion Group, a privately owned and family orientated company that specialises in the cartage of stock feeds and live poultry throughout New Zealand. We’re looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver with the right skills and qualities we value to join our dynamic New Plymouth team. This day-shift role involves moving forklifts between farms and loading trucks. You’ll be part of an energetic and supportive team, We’re looking for a reliable operator with strong driving ability, a solid work ethic, and a “can do” attitude. What You’ll Bring: * Flexibility to drive different trucks and loading combinations * Safe loading and unloading of freight * Experience driving on rural roads * Good geographical knowledge of the Taranaki region * Forklift operating ability * Strong time management and communication skills * Ability to work well as part of a team To mix it up and keep things interesting, the role also includes opportunities to diversify into live poultry, feed deliveries, Moffett forklift operations, and transporter truck.
