We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team. The Director of Nursing is responsible for managing the nursing department, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements
- Ensure that patient care is delivered in a compassionate, safe, and timely manner
- Oversee the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Manage nursing department budget and resources
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure quality care for patients
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
Qualifications:
- Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a current state license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or SNF nursing management
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations and standards for nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals
- Experience with quality assurance and performance improvement processes
