Eligibility Specialist II

Logan County Department of Job & Family Services is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented and experienced Case Manager with experience as Eligibility Referral Specialist 2 (ERS2) or Benefits Case Manager to join our Income Maintenance Unit.

The primary duties of this position are Case Management and Customer Service. The person in this position will determine eligibility for customers applying for public assistance, redeterminations, and/or assess ongoing customer employment situations. Employee will also determine initial and/or ongoing eligibility for emergency assistance. Excellent customer service and detailed data entry are an requirement of this position.

The successful candidate will have a minimum two years of experience working at Job & Family Services as an ERS 2. Must have excellent attendance and a positive attitude. Degree is preferred but experience in similar position will also be considered. Ability to use multiple computer platforms and phone system simultaneous is also required. Case Managers also attend meetings, trainings, conferences, workshops, and webinars as needed, and are responsible for data entry on their cases.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $36,961.60 -

$47,881.60. Future pay increases are based on years of service in similar county employment of 4% to 6% annually again based on years of service. We also offer an annual Retention Payment based on years of service from $300.00 - $1,300.00.
