Compensation: $45–$60 per clinical hour (Fee-for-Service)

Schedule: Flexible, with 1 required in-person day/week and 2 evening shifts/week

Job Description:
ILLUMINA Wellness is seeking a Mental Health Counselor–Limited Permit (MHC-LP) to join our boutique private practice in Chelsea, NYC. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career clinician who is passionate about relationship and sex therapy, and eager to deepen their clinical work in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

You’ll work with individuals and couples navigating issues around intimacy, identity, and emotional connection—supported by weekly supervision, training in marketing and referral building, and full administrative assistance so you can focus on what matters: the clinical work.

This is a hybrid position requiring one in-person day per week at our Flatiron office and two evening shifts. Outside of that, scheduling is flexible and collaboratively planned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and active Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York

• Strong interest in relationship and sex therapy (required)
• Comfortable with—or eager to learn—attachment-based, psychodynamic, and experiential modalities
• Gay men / those interested in gay men's issues especially encouraged to apply.
