Operating Superintendent

Responsible for the safe, reliable operation, maintenance, and construction of the electric distribution system. Oversees line personnel and ensures fleet readiness. Develops and manages budgets, work plans, policies, and operating procedures. Provides after-hours dispatching and supervisory support, including during emergencies. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in utility system operations; prior supervisory experience required. Must be knowledgeable in regulatory and safety requirements for power distribution construction, operation, and maintenance. Strong, clear communication skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic mapping systems desired. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and accident prevention. Position involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires availability for irregular hours and emergency response.
