PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Field Engineer is the technical expert on the Tech Ops team performing testing and commissioning of AV systems. They are responsible for ensuring a project is executed with excellence and meets all design requirements in the scope of work. This is done through working with the team in checking, documenting, configuring and programming audio video and network equipment throughout following the installation process. The Field Engineer is the technical liaison with the client for training at the end of each project.

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
This position regularly requires employees to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment. Field work such as climbing ladders and doing overhead work also required.
EQUIPMENT USED
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
Other audio video and network test equipment and hand tools use may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily finish construction environment. Work will be performed primarily on site.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires travel to local job sites within driving distance and air travel to out-of-state job sites. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to fly as needed for project requirements.

Pay Rate: $105,000-125,000/yr depending on background and experience.
