Edge AI is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to spearhead demonstrations, customer training and support for our leading commercial technology. This is an on-site position, with about 50% of the time devoted to traveling. The Field Operations Specialist will work in collaboration with our customer service and sales teams to demonstrate the technology to prospective customers and conduct on-site training for current customers.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting Demonstrations:
• Traveling to visit potential customers and demonstrating the product on-site
• Communicating ease of use and addressing pain points of potential customers
• Attending tradeshows
• Local service work, as needed
• Following-up with potential customers after demonstrations to walk them through and showcase the web portion of our technology and answer any other questions

2. Customer Training:

• Traveling to new and current customers to conduct a hands-on training on the technology

3. Customer Service and Support:

• Communicating with current customers via email and telephone to answer questions, lend support and troubleshoot
• Following-up with current customers to ensure they are satisfied with their system and service
• Following-up with potential customers after demonstrations to answer any further questions on the technology

4. Appointment setting and logistics:

• Assisting the sales team in scheduling demonstrations for potential customers
• Scheduling trainings for new customers

5. Assisting the Sales Team:

• Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer concerns and pain points to the sales production and engineering teams to create solutions

6. Relationship building and tracking thereof:

• Building and maintaining relationships with customers and prospects to establish trust, credibility and commitments
• Tracking these interactions in a ticketing software in a comprehensive way to be easily accessible

The role of the Field Operations Specialist will be critical in ensuring customer success and satisfaction for Edge AI and requires a combination of organization, tech savviness and relationship-building skills. This position will help all areas of the company better understand what the target Edge customer needs and expects and where our best opportunities are for improvement.

Qualifications and experience for success:

• Experience in the technology industry
• Experience in customer service, support and outreach
• Willingness to travel
• Proficient in Google Workspace
• Strong people skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or post secondary education preferred
• Experience with tech-startups or early stage product development preferred
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75K-95K
