Location: New York, NY 10019

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$21/hr

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Patient Care Associate for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, intake/output, and pain assessments (non-pediatric)

• Assist with clinical procedures (specimen collection, venipuncture, EKGs, compression devices, post-mortem care)

• Support ADLs: feeding, bathing, toileting, mobility, positioning, and ambulation

• Provide patient observation for safety, suicide prevention, or elopement risk as assigned

• Assist RNs with procedures and clinical setup

• Maintain isolation precautions and a safe, clean patient environment

• Perform purposeful rounding and document care in electronic systems

• Assist with meals, patient transport, equipment, and unit communication systems

• Greet visitors, answer phones, respond to call lights, and support admissions/discharges

• Promote culturally sensitive and respectful patient care

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3–9 months healthcare experience preferred

• AHA Heartsaver or BLS certification

• Strong communication skills, task prioritization, and physical stamina
