Signbiz is a leading signage provider with branches across New Zealand, including Auckland, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Tasman, Christchurch, Dunedin and Southern Lakes. We specialise in comprehensive brand management, custom-made signs, and full commercial fit-outs. As our Christchurch team continues to grow, we are creating a new Estimator role to support our Account Managers and help get signage quotes out the door faster. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, problem-solving, and learning how projects are priced. Signage experience is a bonus, but not essential — we have internal pricing guides and a supportive team to help you learn the ropes. **About the Role** You’ll work closely with our Account Managers and production team to prepare accurate signage quotes and pricing, allowing our sales team to focus more time with clients. This is a desk-based role with plenty of variety and exposure to real-world projects. You’ll also assist with procurement of materials and invoicing, helping ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish. **Key responsibilities include:** -Preparing signage estimates and quotations -Reviewing job details, drawings, and specifications -Using internal pricing guides and systems to build quotes -Assisting with procurement of materials and invoicing processes -Working closely with Account Managers to meet deadlines -Assisting with pricing queries and quote revisions -Communicating with clients where required to clarify details -Maintaining accurate records and pricing information **What We’re Looking For** We’re looking for someone with a good head for numbers and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you will have: -Strong numerical skills and attention to detail -An interest in construction, signage, design, or project-based work -Good written and verbal communication skills -A logical, methodical approach to work -Ability to manage multiple quotes at once -Confidence working within a close-knit team Experience with estimating, pricing, signage, procurement, or invoicing is great but not required.
