Summary
This role provides strategic and tactical design leadership for two of Cigna’s highest‑priority digital initiatives: Clearity (Find Care Modernization Project) & Coverage/Cost Transformation
Responsiblities
Leads experience strategy, workflows and design governance for products deemed critical by Health Plan leadership
Ensures continuity and quality during accelerated roadmap delivery
Lead the design of Cigna’s #1 call‑driver experience; Coverage & Cost Transformation: Directly supports an estimated $43M in annual operational savings through improved digital self‑service and reduced claims confusion
Tail-Off Clearity Project (Find Care Modernization)
Provides senior‑level UX expertise, aligns product/engineering/business stakeholders, and ensures designs meet accessibility, compliance, and design‑system standards
Maintains continuity and institutional knowledge across Clearity and Coverage & Cost workstreams
Qualifications
5+ years' of UX and UI design experience in an enterprise setting
Experience leading end to end design including concepting, wireframing and high fidelity design delivery
Specialized healthcare expertise in complex benefits, claims, and navigation experiences
Ability to reduce reliance on external vendors
Proven ability to prevent rework
Ability to accelerate roadmap execution
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
