Duty Manager – PAK'nSAVE Masterton Join Our Team and Help Keep Our Store Running Smoothly! At PAK'nSAVE Masterton, we're committed to delivering a consistently fresh and appealing shopping experience for our customers. We're looking for a Duty Manager who can step up and ensure the store runs efficiently in the absence of Department Managers and other members of the management team. About the Role As a Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for: * Maintaining store appearance, security, service, and productivity. * Monitoring staff performance and customer flow. * Ensuring compliance with health and safety, HACCP, and store policies. * Closing the store securely and managing end-of-day procedures. * Handling customer and staff issues professionally and promptly. * Acting as Shift Manager on some nights, leading the floor team to deliver excellent service and operational standards. * Operating a forklift when required to support store operations. What We're Looking For * Strong leadership and supervisory skills. * Ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly. * A customer-first mindset with a passion for service. * Physically fit and computer literate. * Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage conflict fairly. Experience * 2+ years' supermarket experience. * Supervisory experience.
