At Happy Gym, we believe preschool gymnastics should be joyful, intentional, and a little bit magical—for kids, families, and our team. We’re looking for a Program Director who’s excited to grow our preschool gymnastics program, elevate our brand, and lead an incredible team of coaches as we continue to expand.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves both big-picture thinking and the behind-the-scenes details that make everything run smoothly.

_______

The Big Picture

The Program Director oversees and grows our preschool gymnastics program, leads and develops our coaching team, nurtures client relationships, and helps drive thoughtful, strategic brand growth.

Reports to: Gym Owner

_______

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This role is a great fit for someone who:

  • Positive, optimistic, and growth-minded
  • The kind of leader who makes others feel like the sky’s the limit
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • A natural integrator who loves bringing ideas to life
  • Obsessed (in the best way) with following tasks through to completion
  • Experienced in—or excited about—brand and program growth
  • A systems-lover who enjoys implementing and refining processes
  • Great with young children
  • Gymnastics experience is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities: Manage Our Awesome Team

  • Coordinate coach schedules and shifts
  • Support staff coverage when needed
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members
  • Help develop coaches using our established training systems
  • Post daily team communication updates in our communications app

Hospitality & Operations

  • Manage client communications (inbox, messages, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with families in the studio
  • Track enrollment trends and flag growth or contraction
  • Use both data and creativity to guide programming decisions
  • Stay accountable to monthly strategic KPIs set by leadership

Curriculum & Programming

  • Collaborate on skill sheets and gymnastics progressions
  • Provide feedback and support curriculum development
  • Compile and finalize lesson plans after creation

Teaching

  • Serve as lead preschool coach for 4–6 classes per week

Yay! It’s Fun to Work Here

  • Professional development opportunities
  • Potential to grow into a full-time role
  • Oodles of opportunity for brand and program growth

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’ll build something meaningful with real ownership, real impact, and room to grow.
  • You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: big-picture visioning and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • You’ll lead and develop an incredible team of coaches, helping them grow with confidence and heart.
  • We value trust, flexibility, and outcomes–not micromanagement.
  • You’ll help shape a brand with significant growth potential.
  • And most importantly, you’ll spend your days surrounded by laughter, movement, tiny humans doing big things, and people who genuinely care.

Ready to Apply?

If you’re energized by the idea of leading a joyful preschool gymnastics program, working closely with kids, coaches, and growing something special with intention, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume along with a brief note sharing why this role excites you and what you’d bring to the Happy Gym team to office@happygymdenver.com
