Position Overview

Reporting to the VP, Talent, the Culture & Community Manager designs and activates programs that bring Enerpac’s values to life, inside and outside our walls. This role connects employee experience, internal community building, and external community impact (volunteering/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)), using data to measure what moves engagement, belonging, and pride in ETG. The ideal candidate is an energetic builder who can turn strategy into rituals, programs, and stories that scale globally while respecting and supporting local nuance.

Key Responsibilities

Culture Strategy & Activation

  • Translate ETG values into observable behaviors, rituals, and leader toolkits; to tell the culture story and build a culture “operating system” (cadences, recognition, storytelling, onboarding moments).
  • Partner with People Leaders and HRMs to embed the operating system into the employee lifecycle through onboarding, performance, recognition, development and listening.

Internal Community & Communications

  • Own the strategy for ERG and Viva Engage communities and internal campaigns that drive connection, recognition, and two‑way dialogue; establish admin standards, engagement tactics, and success scorecards.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to plan campaigns and live events that amplify leaders’ voices and employee stories. Partner, and in some cases, lead social media presence for ERG and community efforts.
  • Build an employee brand ambassador/advocacy program with clear guidance, training, consent/privacy standards, and recognition.

Employee Experience, Belonging & ERGs

  • Support our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with consistent charters, leadership roles, budgets, and metrics; coach ERG leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Design and Support current and new listening mechanisms (pulse surveys, employee engagement survey, focus groups) and convert insights into action plans with People Leaders; publish simple dashboards on progress.
  • Partner with TA/Employer Brand team to amplify employee stories that attract talent and reinforce culture.

Community Impact & CSR (External‑Facing)

  • Coordinate volunteering, philanthropy, and community partnerships aligned to ETG values and business priorities; track impact and participation.
  • Serve as a liaison with local organizations and industry groups; represent ETG at community events and manage communications in collaboration with Communications team.

Measurement & Governance

  • Define KPIs and dashboards (engagement, participation, onboarding sentiment, ERG health, Viva Engage activity, volunteer hours) and present insights/ROI to Leadership and employees.
  • Establish program guidelines, risk & privacy practices (image use, consent, data retention) in partnership with Communications, Legal/Compliance, HR and IT.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years in Employee Experience, Internal Communications, Community/Engagement, or related People & Culture roles; experience with global or multi‑site populations preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to design programs and measure outcomes (survey analytics, participation funnels, behavioral metrics).
  • Hands‑on experience managing digital communities (e.g., Viva Engage/Yammer) and running campaigns/events that spark participation.
  • Experience launching/leading ERGs or similar affinity networks; familiarity with best‑practice governance, sponsorship, and leader enablement.
  • Strong storytelling, facilitation, and change‑management skills; credible with frontline teams and senior leaders alike.
