Summary

Work as staff under the guidance/supervision of the BG Falcon Media Creative Director. Design, layout and prepare for vendors publications and marketing materials for BG Falcon Media and its business units. Position is part-time for the academic year.

Essential Functions

  • Design, layout and prepare for print the weekly BG News and semi-annual Housing Guides.
  • Design, layout and prepare for output digital and print assets such as brochures, posters, advertising, digital screens or social media.
  • Manage design files.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Junior or senior Graphic Design student from the School of Art, Graphic Design division
  • Available to work 20hrs/week
  • Availability to work Tuesday evenings beginning at 4p to produce the weekly BG News
  • Technical skills proficiency
  • Understanding of design principles
  • Ability to design across different mediums
  • UX and UI sensibilities as it pertains to apps and websites
  • Experience with Adobe creative cloud software
  • Soft skills proficiency
  • Must have a creative mindset
  • Good communication, problem solving and time management skills
