Job Description:

Customs Analyst Primary Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze bills of materials for free trade agreement applicability

• Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status - United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

• Follow internal work instructions governing free trade agreement analysis and qualification

• Coordinate with supply chain on solicitation of USMCA certificates from suppliers

• Review of supplier provided USMCA certificates (USMCA allows the certification of origin to be completed by the importer, exporter, or producer)

United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

• Analyze historical customs broker entry data to determine where post-entry claims should be made

• Support post-entry filings, including FTA reconciliation, post-summary corrections and duty drawback

• Support other duty mitigation programs as needed

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Intermediate Excel skills

• Ability to analyze data and apply customs requirements to data sets

• Strong attention to detail

• 1-2+ years experience in data analysis, customs or logistics

Preferred Qualification:

• Prior customs experience

• Prior experience with free trade agreement analysis

• Prior experience with SAP
