Job Summary

• Displays enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward students, colleagues, subject matter and the school
• Establishes and maintains high expectation standards for students and self
• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning that includes classroom rules that allow for maintaining order, discipline and learning
• Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students
• Plans both daily and long-range lesson plans that support Missouri Learning Standards and the stated educational goals of the district
• Employs a variety of instructional delivery methods and instructional media to help meet the educational needs of students
• Evaluates student progress on a regular basis and provides timely, legitimate feedback to students, parents and administrators

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
