CNC Lathe Programmer

Job Duties

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating CNC lathe-type machines with Gibbscam. This role is critical to the production process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all CNC programming and operations meet the highest standards.

Minimum Education Required

High School diploma or equivalent (required)

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (preferred)

Minimum Experience Required

• Experience with CAD/CAM software, including CAM programming.

• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) and lathe operations.

• Familiarity with CNC milling machines and their applications.

• Strong understanding of geometry and the principles of CNC machining.

• Experience with tooling and the ability to design and implement custom tooling solutions.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Experience with bore gauges and other precision tools.

• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality control.
