Description:

• Seeking a skilled professional in the field of mammography technology for a full-time position in White Plains, NY.
• This role involves working under supervision to perform imaging procedures and assist radiologists.
• The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards, with a focus on patient care and effective communication.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
• NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit
• ARRT registered (RT)
• Advanced Mammo examination/certification within 1 year of hire
• 40 hours of training in mammography during orientation
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Qualifications:

• Experience with radiation protection principles
• Professional judgment in imaging procedures
• Ability to perform quality assurance and calibration of equipment
• Experience in patient preparation and positioning for exams
• Knowledge of the psychosocial needs of various patient populations
• Ability to assist physicians during procedures
• Experience in maintaining cleanliness and reporting equipment issues
