CNC Machinist (Milling)

Job Duties

We are looking to hire a skilled CNC machinist to join our 1st shift team within a production environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations by machining high-quality precision parts to print. Candidates with strong machining backgrounds will thrive, and on-the-job training is available for those with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Minimum Education Required

• High school diploma or GED (Required)

• Associated technical degree/certification within the field (Preferred

Minimum Experience Required

· Ability to set up and run CNC mills or lathes from start to finish.

· Proficiency in making edits at the machine.

· Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

· Mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to follow protocols with minimal redirection.

· CAD/CAM knowledge and experience with machining centers using Fanuc or Yasnac controls.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying shop conditions.

· Experience with Makino machines (A51NX, A55, A66) is a plus

· Hands-on with Haas VF6, VF4, ST20, SMEC SL2000, or Nakamura-Tome AS-200L is a plus

· SolidWorks or CAD/CAM software experience is a plus

· Quoting and estimating background is preferred
