JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Quantitative Risk Analyst (multiple openings
available) at Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will conduct mortgage performance quantitative analytics to support strategic risk management goals through research, analysis, and interpreting data. Work with both internal and external quantitative credit risk models to build out risk exposure management and economic capital frameworks to support business strategies that create corporate value. Conduct quantitative analytics and complex modeling projects using statistical and machine learning methods for financial data and apply statistical methods to identify key drivers behind model results and provide efficiency in estimation of key risk metrics. Monitor stability of results from statistical methods as assumptions underlying the model evolve. Participate in development of new models, analytic processes, or system approaches and examine adequacy of newly developed models and the implication on financial reporting. Translate business needs into requests for model enhancements. Gather data and conduct quantitative research on various factors related to assigned focus including predictive modeling, data/statistical analysis, business operations, and impact thereof. Maintain and run various quantitative analyses and models and prepare data inputs utilizing data query and statistical tools/languages. Maintain, test, and enhance existing software that houses our internal risk models. Conduct valuation analysis of structured mortgage products and reinsurance deals. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. \*\** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a minimum of a Master\'s degree in Financial Mathematics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a related field plus 6 months of professional experience as a Risk Analyst or related occupation.
