Fabricator / assembler / welder

Fabricator/Assembler/Welder – Engineer Farmquip specialises in manufacturing quality animal handling equipment and structural steel from our busy workshop in Whakatu, Hastings. We are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator/Assembler/Welder to join our team. Key Attributes Required:  5+ years engineering experience in a similar environment  Mig and Tig Welding experience to a high level of competency  Fabrication in steel (aluminium an advantage)  Structural steel welding experience but not essential  Ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and perform under pressure  Produce work to a high standard in an efficient manner  Attention to detail  Ability to work from and read detailed CAD drawings  Positive attitude, punctual and a team player This position will require pre-employment medical and drug testing to be undertaken.
