RF Technician

We are seeking a skilled technician to repair remote radio heads and baseband units. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of RF signals and 4G/5G technologies, as well as expertise in electronics components and troubleshooting. PCB soldering experience is essential, and IPC certification is a plus. Proficiency with a multimeter is required, while experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is preferred. Experience with Ericsson repairs is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Use soldering equipment to repair, modify, and replace parts on electronic circuit boards for remote radio heads and baseband units.
• Validate symptoms and diagnose issues using information from automated diagnostic machines.
• Disassemble devices, identify defective components, and perform PCB repairs.
• Reassemble and test units to ensure they are fully functional.
• Troubleshoot electronic components to the component level, resolving complex technical issues.
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.
• Keep a clean and organized workstation.
• Train and assist other technicians in repair processes.
  
  

• Electronics certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Repair Technician or equivalent.
• Proficient in soldering and desoldering techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit components and theory.
• Basic understanding of RF signals and 4G/5G technologies.
• Proficiency with multimeters.
• Experience with PCB repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

The position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The work environment is part of a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company, engaging with some of the nation's largest wireless telecommunications providers. The workplace encourages maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
