Reporting to the HRIS Manager on a Fixed Term for 10mths, you will be joining a values-led organisation shaping the future of education across Tāmaki Makaurau. We are seeking a part time detail-driven and systems-savvy HRIS Coordinator to join our HRIS team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and performance of our SuccessFactors HR system (myMIT).

Kaupapa | Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring our SuccessFactors HRIS system continues to meet the needs of the Institute. Working closely with People & Culture, Payroll, Digital, Managers and kaimahi – staff, to ensure our system supports operational excellence across MIT & Unitec.

  • Seamless onboarding, offboarding and position management

Ngā Mahi | Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Data Integrity for myMIT

  • Manage fortnightly People & Culture data maintenance processes within SuccessFactors
  • Complete position management updates and support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Liaise with Payroll on people and pay-related matters and respond to system/process queries from Managers, Employees and the People & Culture team
  • Assist in developing and maintaining how-to guides for myMIT
  • Take ownership of data integrity, ensuring myMIT data is accurate, maintained and consistent
  • Assist with project work around remuneration changes
  • Assist with the tracking, recording and notifications of employment checks and union membership movements

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Understanding of payroll processes and HR data management principles
  • Experience working in complex environments with multiple employment agreements
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues methodically
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
