Job Description

The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Electronic Warfare. This position leverages engineering expertise, critical thinking, and scientific methodologies to ensure the warfighter maintains a decisive advantage over adversaries. The selected candidate will work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to analyze complex challenges, develop innovative solutions, and execute field and laboratory testing to meet mission objectives. This role requires greater autonomy in decision-making and leadership in test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and lead the integration of all Verification and Validation (V&V) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities, ensuring alignment with project performance goals and schedules.

  • Prepare, review, and submit testing documentation, including Test Plans, Test Reports, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Test Strategies, and Technical Review Action Plans (TRAP).

  • Conduct and lead Developmental Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) while coordinating test resources for successful test execution.

  • Perform detailed analysis of collected test data to assess performance, identify issues, and develop recommendations for improvement.

  • Prepare and deliver test event closure briefs (TEC) to stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members to enhance project success.

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply scientific methodologies to complex technical challenges.

  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills to solve multifaceted problems and recommend the best course of action.

  • Experience in managing and interpreting data to support engineering decisions.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical findings to diverse audiences, including stakeholders and leaders.

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within team environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus in RF, Antennas, Electromagnetic theory, Signal modulation, Communication systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering.

  • Experience in developing, planning, executing, and leading Verification & Validation (V&V) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities.

  • Experience with Technical Data Analysis and system level testing.

  • Experience with Electronic / RF Systems.

  • Secret Clearance.

  • Experience with LabVIEW.

  • Nice to have: DoD/DoW experience and experience with Electronic Warfare products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Crane, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
