Salary Information
Salary Range: $47,750 $103,021, based on the 20252026 Salary Schedule. Final salary placement will be determined upon completion of negotiations.
All verified years of relevant experience will be credited based on education and experience. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule, depending on education and experience. Tuition reimbursement opportunities are available to support continued professional growth.
Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher of Music is responsible for providing high-quality instruction that supports the academic and social-emotional development of young learners. The teacher will implement standards-based instruction aligned to the Colorado Academic Standards and use data-driven practices to ensure student growth and achievement.
Qualifications for the Position
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Music required
  • Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teacher License in Music issued by the Colorado Department of Education
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and state assessments
  • Ability to implement data-driven instruction within a standards-based classroom
  • Experience teaching in a primary-grade-level classroom preferred
  • Strong background in integrating reading, writing, and math problem-solving instruction
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team; experience with data-driven instruction preferred
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in instructional technology preferred
  • Coaching opportunities may be available
