Summary
CHS, Inc. is hiring a Production Registration Specialist on our Agronomy Research & Development team. The Product Registration Specialsit is accountable for assisting with the development and implementation of product labels, regulatory strategies, and tactics to grow and advocate products in the CHS, Inc., and affiliated companies' product portfolio.
Responsibilities
Crop Protection Adjuvant/Pesticide/Seed treatments
Maintain state registrations and keep portfolio current
Provide technical review for all labels, SDS's and sell sheets
Maintain trait approvals as needed across tank mix platforms; submit new products for testing and subsequent posting
Crop Nutrient portfolio
Reduce redundancy of registrations among states and maintain registration conciseness moving forward. Eliminate outdated products or unique one-time products originally registered only for intended short term sale.
Track and maintain all CN registrations and distributor licensing across all states
Addition of new products in soil amendment and biostimulant areas of growth
Requires review, understanding and implementation of new regulations that states will mandate for these products
Obtain and summarize data for submission that some states will require
Private label expansion
Label and SDS review and approval; trait equivalency submissions
Agrian/Telus updates
Responsible for maintaining current labels and SDS's on Agrian/Telus
Maintain current state registration list for each product
Support New Product Development
Draft SDS's and labels for experimental products
Become proficient in new SDS program and work with hypothetical formulations to help determine best fit for customers and market
Create CSF's for registration of new products brought to market in CHS formulations
Expand registration of Crop Protection and Crop Nutrients portfolio into new states and territories
Interpret, understand and comply with new regulation requirements
Expand international registration of Crop Porfolio into new countries
Interpret and understand international registration requirements
Overcome communication gaps that exist between CHS and foreign countries
AAPFCO
Network and become more involved and influential by representing CHS, Inc.
Comprehend regulatory and legislative initiatives that impact the regulatory environment for the industry and for CHS
Agronomic Updates, Adjuvant Poster, Premix Poster
Requires detailed technical review and routine updates with current market products, trends and recommendations
Keep label and SDS files updated across all CHS platforms in appropriate folders for internal and external accessibility
Maintain coordination and communication across pertinent departments
Tax, Feed, CN, facility licensing, Country Operations, Marketing
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School diploma or GED
4+ years of experience in research and development or related feild
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or equivalent experience in technical fields related to pesticides i.e. entomology, chemistry, plant pathology etc.
Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
Communication, Oral and Written- Ability to communicate effectively with others
Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
