Assistant Project Manager

Salary: $85,000 -- $105,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Position Overview

A well-established commercial construction company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project teams throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This role works closely with field leadership and project management to help coordinate documentation, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor activities.

The position is ideal for someone looking to continue developing their career in construction project management while working on a variety of commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating construction projects from early planning through completion
• Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
• Track and process RFIs, submittals, and change requests
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Help monitor project progress and assist with schedule updates
• Assist with contract documentation and project reporting
• Participate in project meetings and help maintain accurate project records
• Support project closeout documentation and final deliverables

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2--5 years of experience supporting commercial construction projects
• Understanding of construction documents and project coordination processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-focused environment
