Prima, a swanky new Italian steakhouse concept in Charlestown opened by the teams behind Monument Restaurant & Tavern and Capo South Boston, is looking for hard working, enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our BOH team! We are a high-volume neighborhood restaurant serving rustic Italian, housemade pasta, luxury cuts of steak and chops, and creative cocktails, beer, and wine.

We are looking for a seasoned, full time cook with an interest in cooking a variety of classic regional Italian dishes. Working with fresh pasta and Italian experience is not required but encouraged. Open availability for the later half of the week and through the weekend is required to cover peak volume times. Great team, kitchen design and product!

Responsibilities Include

• station maintenance during service and breakdown while following food quality and sanitation standards of the executive chef
• open schedule availability Thursday through Monday, 2pm to 12am.
• preparing pasta to a desired al dente with the attention to tasting a la minute pan sauces, honing in on flavors and receiving Chef feedback.
• friendly and efficient communication with rest of the kitchen team
• professional and clean demeanor while on stage (working the station in an open kitchen in the public eye)
