This includes completing regular inspections, arranging meth testing when required, and supporting kiritaki to understand how to maintain a safe, healthy home. You'll respond early to issues, such as anti‑social behaviour, neighbour concerns or property damage, and guide tenants through their responsibilities, including liability and fair debt or damage recovery. You'll work with kiritaki to develop practical action plans that help them manage their home well, meet their obligations and stay successfully housed. Your approach will reflect Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga and respectful kōrero, while still being firm and clear about expectations. You'll also work closely with Housing Case Workers, property owners, contractors and the wider team to resolve issues early, coordinate repairs and ensure accurate event recording.
