GENERAL SUMMARY: Adjunct Information Systems Instructor to teach individuals in Missouri correctional facilities located in Southeast Missouri. Individual will be responsible for teaching Introduction to Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a face-to-face and hybrid format. Teaching assignments will be made in collaboration with the Office of the Provost.
This position is a project-oriented instructional position with a goal of outcomes-based objectives and certification in all Microsoft products covered – Microsoft Office User Specialists (MOS). In depth coverage of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be covered along with document integration between the various software components and the MOS certification objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver learning experiences for students to make maximum use of class and lab time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Microsoft User Specialist Certification preferred
Teaching experience preferred
Experience with Certiport Exam delivery, proctoring, and the certification process.
