responsibilities:

• Manage Protein and Plasmid Inventory: Oversee the receipt and inventorying of samples produced internally or via CROs, ensuring strict adherence to sample management best practices.
• Database Administration: Regularly update and maintain sample inventory databases (e.g., Freezerpro) to ensure 100% data integrity and traceability.
• Coordinate Material Logistics: Organize sample aliquoting and handoffs to cross-functional teams to meet strict project timelines.
• Perform Biologics Characterization: Execute analytical techniques such as SEC, DSF, MS, and endotoxin measurement to ensure reagent quality.
• Data Management: Utilize electronic notebooks and report generation systems to document experimental results and inventory shifts accurately.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for CROs and internal data strategy teams to streamline data transfer and tool development.

 
qualifications:
Required Skills

• Education: BS in Biology or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or an MS with 0+ years of experience.
• Sample Handling: Proven experience in the handling and management of protein and biologics samples.
• Inventory Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of sample inventory management databases (e.g., Freezerpro).
• Analytical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of protein characterization techniques, specifically SEC, MS, and DSF.
• Documentation: Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and report generation.
• Software Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on Analytics: Direct experience performing SEC, MS, endotoxin measurements, and DSF.
• Automation: Experience operating liquid handling platforms (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton).
• Advanced Data Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., macros, complex formulas) for data strategy.
