Job Title: Food Production Associate

Company: Local Meat Company in Spartanburg, SC

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Production Associate to join our team at a local meat company in Spartanburg, SC. As a Food Production Associate, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality meat products, working with raw meat to prepare it for smoking and/or oven cooking.

Responsibilities:

• Unbox and prepare raw meat (raw ribs, pork, poultry, etc.) according to customer specifications

• Send prepared meat into the smoker and/or oven for cooking

• Work in a fast-paced production environment to meet customer demands

Requirements:

• Ability to work with raw meat

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

• Food scaling experience is preferred

• Hair nets and beard nets (if needed) will be provided by the company

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (some Fridays may be required)

Pay:

• $13.00/hr

Benefits:

• Bonuses twice a year (one for the Fourth of July and one for Christmas)
