The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill a Corrections Program Supervisor - SUD position located at Racine Youthful Offender Correctional Facility (Racine, WI).
Position Summary

The Corrections Program Supervisor – Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Treatment Program position, which includes Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA), is responsible for assigned programs as well as the general living conditions, security, and activities of all Persons in Our Care (PIOC) assigned to live and/or participate in treatment programs on the housing unit. Included in the major goals of this position are the administration of SUD/AODA treatment programs; planning, coordination and administration of a complex multi-disciplinary program for treatment and custody of PIOC; development of appropriate program components; implementation, updating, and maintenance of clinical and administrative procedures; supervision, direction, and training and supervision of Corrections Social Worker and Treatment Specialist staff for SUD/AODA programs, as well as direction to other staff assigned to the unit; facilitation and evaluation of unit-based work assignments; as well as planning and coordination of activities and relationships between the unit and outside agencies.

The Corrections Program Supervisor is an administrator responsible for activities within the unit; is part of the institution management team tasked with the development, implementation and monitoring of overall institution goals, policies and procedures, direction of institution wide programs, and performs in the role of Warden’s designee as required.
Salary Information

This position is in pay schedule/range 81-03 with an annual salary of $55889 - $92206 plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.

Job Details

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Your resume should detail your certifications and experience related to the qualifications listed including any licensure numbers.
The incumbent must possess and maintain through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services:
One of three certifications: An Independent Clinical Supervisor-License , an Intermediate Clinical Supervisor-License or a Clinical Supervisor In-Training-License .
OR
Minimally, hold an active Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor credential;
or hold an active license at the master’s level or higher under;
457.08(4) Clinical Social Worker License,
457.10 Marriage and Family Therapist License,
457.11 Marriage and Family Therapist Training License
457.12 Professional Counselor License (Privilege to Practice)
457.13 Professional Counselor Training License
and obtain a Clinical Supervisor-in-Training license within 6 months of appointment.

AND

Have at least 2 years of experience delivering Substance Use Disorder Treatment or have at least 2 years of experience providing supervision to Substance Use Disorder Treatment Providers.
