Plate Rolling Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plate Rolling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Deer Park. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming heavy metal plates into the precise cylindrical and conical shapes required for our high-end industrial vessels. Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate heavy-duty plate rolling machines (initial pinch or four-roll) to bend carbon and stainless steel plates.
  
  
• Precision Measurement: Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure all parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
  
  
• Material Handling: Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load, position, and unload heavy materials.
  
  
• Quality Control: Perform constant inspections using templates, pi-tapes, and squares to ensure roundness and alignment.
  
  
• Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
