Direct Hire Opportunity! The Process Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the production processes in a high-speed manufacturing environment. This role requires technical expertise to ensure optimal equipment performance, product quality, and maximum efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection molding, blow molding, or similar continuous production processes. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance) is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Process Technician, Mold Technician, or similar role in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferably in the plastics industry (injection or blow molding).
- Solid understanding of plastic processing, including polymers and material characteristics.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, which may include nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Monitor and adjust molding/production parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time) to ensure the highest quality product and maximum output.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards and document all quality-related data.
- Setup and Changeovers: Assist with the setup of new molds, tools, and equipment, and execute efficient machine changeovers.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary production logs, maintenance reports, and shift documentation.
- Training: Provide technical guidance and training to machine operators on equipment operation and process standards.
