Position/Title Graphic Designer

Part-Time/Full-Time Full-Time

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create designs for websites, social media, brochures, flyers, signage and other marketing materials

· Meet with various departments to understand project requirements and objectives

· Produce illustrations, logos, layouts and photos that align with brand guidelines

· Collaborate with ministry teams to deliver cohesive visual campaigns

· Maintain technical knowledge by learning new design software and attending workshops

· Revise and edit designs based on ministry feedback to ensure quality and consistency

· Required working presence at Christmas Eve, VBS, Easter and other large church events as assigned

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

· Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). WordPress and Pro Presenter

· Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 systems (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams)

· Knowledge of typography, color theory and lay out principles

· Experience in video editing, animation, or web design

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle changing priorities.

· Proven time management skills

· Striving for excellence in ministry

· Organizational and administration skills necessary

· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field

· A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and past projects
