Position Description:

CGI is seeking an SAP Application Security Consultant and GRC Analyst to support and lead an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. As the Senior SAP Application Security Consultant, you will be involved in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment.

You will be responsible for delivering SAP security capabilities and solutions within the project's SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will serve as a lead with a strong SAP application security design background in S/4HANA, S/4HANA Private Cloud, RISE, SAP GRC, SAP BTP, and select non-SAP tools. The candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of SAP security structure, user authentication methods, user access and authorization concepts, user activity monitoring, and audit/compliance reporting.

This project operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that leverages Agile/Scrum methodology to rapidly build solutions based on customer requirements. You are encouraged to learn new technologies and recommend improvements to business processes. You will be successful through your strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills with our clients.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts through the project lifecycle.

  • Utilize all available tools and applications within the project to provide SAP security solutions aligned with SAP best practices and industry standards.

  • Participate in security solution selection, design, and implementation as part of the project team.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve a secure SAP environment.

  • Lead all security aspects of system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and system refreshes.

  • Conduct SAP security workshops with clients and project personnel.

  • Proactively engage the project team and client for activities such as requirement gathering and status reporting.

  • Develop and provide extensive training and leadership to the client and internal teams.

  • Identify and communicate security issues, risks, and opportunities to facilitate timely resolution.

  • Deliver SAP security solutions, analytics, reports, and design TDS/FDS/WRICEF documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Due to the nature of the contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience administering SAP security for SAP applications.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a leader for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

  • Experience in SAP landscape security strategy and architecture.

  • Experience supporting project implementations with SAP solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (SAP GRC), SAP BTP, and other SAP security tools.

Experience in SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based user authorization, and access controls.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and project milestones effectively.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP security configuration, user administration, user authorization troubleshooting, and role-based security development and maintenance.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work on a highly dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with continuous challenges.

  • Ability to serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and project development teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and related tools.

Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Desired qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of user authorization Segregation of Duties (SoD) concepts.

  • Ability to influence change and operate effectively in rapidly evolving technological and business environments.

  • Current SAP Security Certification is desirable.

  • Project experience within government agencies or the public sector is highly desirable.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $245,500.00.
