Bartender/Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Title: Bartender/Server (Front of House (FOH))

Part Time/Seasonal

Reports To: Manager on Duty

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our small business at one of Concord New Hampshire’s oldest golf courses. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with golfers, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, can manage their time effectively, and who works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner, answer questions, and provide assistance
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following all legal serving guidelines
• Assist with basic food preparation, ensure items are stocked and displayed appealingly including:
• Preparing simple snacks like hot dogs or sandwiches
• Preparing garnishes or mixers according to established recipes complying with all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.

Accurately take food/snack/beverage orders from customers, start/manage tabs, cash out customers with cash or card, give accurate change and make appropriate cash deposits at the end of shift

• Inventory Management: Assist in taking beer, wine and liquor inventories for weekly ordering
• Maintain a clean and organized work space, including but not limited to:
• Wiping down counters and tables; cleaning up spills promptly
• Stocking supplies, trash, dishes, sweep, mop & vacuum the floors
• Cleaning bathrooms as necessary
• Follow established procedures for opening and closing the concession stand, complete assigned side work efficiently and thoroughly
• Beverage cart: Safely maneuvering the course, taking orders, mix alcoholic beverages, managing tabs, taking payments, stocking & cleaning, following all supplied beverage cart guidelines
• Assist putting food, beer, liquor, and non alcoholics orders away
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Walk/stand during entire shift, reach, bend, carry, stoop, wipe, and be able to lift up to 45 pounds
• Frequently wash hands
• Be able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively

Bartending/restaurant experience is recommended but not required

Must be able to effectively work as a team player

Availability:

Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days
